Shop the Trend: Scarlet Fever

The Fall ’11 runways had us seeing red. Shades of fire engine, crimson, burgundy—the entire spectrum of rouge marched down the catwalk. Ladies, it’s time to spice up your your seasonal palette of basic black, greys and neutrals with something a bit more colorful.

Michael Kors added a shock of color to his cream, tan, and black collection with a draped red gown and a red fur. Marc Jacobs opted for a more burgundy hue for his see-through lace dress. Naughty, but so very right. Vera Wang’s pleated dress was a softer shade, bordering on burnt sienna. Fancy some scarlet in your wardrobe? We found must-haves in stores now.
