Irving & Fine x Lucky Brand.

Irving & Fine, a brand known for its richly patterned clothes with a bohemian aesthetic, has partnered with Lucky Brand on an exciting collaboration for two collections for Spring and Summer 2013. The collections echo the feel of the Irving & Fine brand, incorporating intricate ethnic embroidery into woven tops, jeans, jackets and accessories. The clothes are fun and flattering, and look more expensive than they are; price points are reasonable, ranging from $89.50 to $199.

The line was well received at the press preview, held at the Lucky showroom.

"We are a small company and have relied mainly on trunk shows until our recently launched internet site," said designer Lisa Fine. "Lucky Brand gives us the opportunity to reach many more clients without compromising our style. Lucky Brand also has a young hip client that we think is perfect for our blouses and jackets. Most important, we have designed our first jean and handbag!"

The handbag in question is a gorgeous, embroidered burlap tote with a woven leather handle.

"I ran into Christian Louboutin, and he said, 'Where did you get that bag?'", said designer Carolina Irving. "He was so enthusiastic, I knew we had done something right."

The collection will be available in stores in February. I'm already coveting the short white cotton embroidered jacket, and the bag, of course.
