Season after season, Stacey Bendet masters the art of the party dress, concocting pieces with the perfect blend of sparkles and studs to capture any young girls heart.
Krysten Ritter got it right when she told FashionEtc, "Alice + Olivia is great because it's super girly but sexy and vampy at the same time."
For Fall 2012, Stacey focused on black and white contrasted with a rich palette of emerald green, ruby red and purple colors.
Bendet told FashionEtc, "I think the Alice + Olivia girl is every girl. My goal is for any woman to be able to walk into our stores and walk out with something. I try to make it so that within each look there is a little something for everyone."
Patterns and prints were mixed and matched with expert ease, giving every outfit the opportunity to be both sexy and sweet; rebellious and reserved. A gold sequin shift dress was paired with a red knit sweater and fur collar while a floor-length green sequin gown was worn with a brown leather bomber jacket.
Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers told FashionEtc, "I think the green sequin dress was probably her [his wife Danielle] favorite...We work together [when we shop.] She picks it out and I say which one she should actually wear."
The collection had more outerwear offerings than usual, with military styles, fur, wool, shearling and leather looks for ultimate variety. The presentation also featured the launch of the Alice + Olivia Gown collection with enough statement sequin numbers to be a hit for the holiday party season.
Kelly Rutherford told FashionEtc, "What I love most about Alice & Olivia is Stacey. I love everything she does. I'm taking photos of all the clothes and emailing her because I want everything. She just makes you instantly glamorous. Like how she does this sparkly silver top with cargo pants and a wool vest and you are instantly chic. It's fantastic, feminine and it all fits. Its good for younger girls and there are pieces for me and I'm a mom."
If it captures the eye of a Gossip Girl...
