Looks from the Ralph Lauren Fall 2012 runway
Ralph Lauren
Ralph Lauren infused excitement into his collection of refinement, romance, and heritage of the English lifestyle. There were leopard coats, jackets, and scarves over plaids. He used pink, red, and purple knits with houndstooth suits. He hit on the leather trend with leather coats, dresses with leather sleeves, and embroidered leather jackets. Everything looked fresh with fantastical gold and beaded jewelry with velvet suits to magical gowns that ended the collection, putting everyone in a great mood! (See the full collection.)

Bill Blass
Jeffrey Monteiro for Bill Blass was inspired by artist Anette H. Flensburg’s use of strong lines and bold color. He used navy, periwinkle, forest green, red, and gold. The collection was clean and classic with tuxedo and military influences, which looked perfect at the Union League Club off Park Avenue, where the collection was previewed. Love what Monteiro is doing for Bill Blass and look forward to next season!
