Phillip Lim, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Swarovski Award for Menswear

After five years designing cult contemporary label Development, Lim struck out under his own name (the 3.1 is for his age at launch time, 31.) His women’s line has been a runaway success, and he expanded to menswear for Spring 2010.
