Is Jennifer Aniston going to put fashion journalists out of work?

The movie star turns reporter for the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar, interviewing February cover girl Nicole Kidman about her marriage to country singer Keith Urban and life in Nashville.

But first, the clothes.

The back-to-redhead Kidman poses for lensman Alexi Lubomirski in ethereal dresses from Tommy Hilfiger, Emilio Pucci, MaxMara, Tom Ford, and Diane von Furstenberg (on the cover) for the nature-themed shoot, as well as the same printed Marc Jacobs halter maxi dress worn by Kim Kardashian in February's Glamour. (Has 2011 found its gold Balmain dress?)

Speaking with Aniston, her co-star in the new Adam Sandler film Just Go With It, the Australian actress is surprisingly open about falling for Urban.

“I remember thinking, Oh, my God, if you ever gave me a man like that, I promise I would be completely devoted for the rest of my life,” she says.

“Something that wild. I remembered praying after I met him that I’d meet somebody, if not him, like him.”

The mother of 2-year-old Sunday Rose says that at age 43, she has become much more of a homebody and that “my roots are deeper.” In fact, those roots are growing in Nashville, where the Oscar winner lives with her family.

“I love living a ways away,” Kidman tells Aniston. “That’s what I’ve worked for in my career, to not have to live in Los Angeles. So it was fortuitous that Keith happened to live in Tennessee. He brought me down to this place called Leipers Fork, just outside of Nashville, very lush and rural. I just went aaah.”

Though Kidman loves the country lifestyle, cowboy hats are another matter. “I don’t wear cowboy hats,” she says. “I think they’re cute. I sometimes put one on with a bikini, but it’s a particular look. I like a cowboy hat on Sunday Rose.”

While the star counts L’Wren Scott among her favorite designers, she insists that she is no slave to style. “I like boy-girl looks,” she says. “I have no sense of what’s fashionable; I just know what I like to wear. I don’t believe in something being in and out. You know those lists? That probably goes along with the whole way I live my life. I don’t like kind of changing with the wind; I like sticking to my own self.”
