Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson Star in Bongo Spring 2012 Ad Campaign
Who says bad girls never prosper?
Lucy Hale and Ashley Benson may be Pretty Little Liars, but for Bongo’s Spring 2012 campaign, they’re just pretty.
Replacing former The Hills star Audrina Patridge, the TV actresses have been named new faces of the juniors brand.
The bright campaign shows the blonde and the brunette posing in short-shorts, cropped and fringed tops, as well as plenty of bohemian jewelry—from wrap bracelets to feathered necklaces.
“I love this campaign because it really shows the versatility of Bongo, sweet versus edgy,” said Hale in a release.
“The shoot was really fun and relaxed,” added Benson. “We can’t wait for everyone to see our Bongo ads!”
The collection is available exclusively at Kmart and Sears, with each girl representing one of the stores.
“We saw this as a great opportunity to partner with two of the hottest stars on television," said Iconix (Bongo’s parent company) chief marketing officer Dari Marder.
“While Lucy and Ashley appear together in the national ad campaign, each girl represents a different retail partner. Lucy will appear in Sears marketing collateral nationwide while Ashley will be seen in Kmart. Bongo is having double the fun this season.”
In addition to Patridge, Lucy Hale and Ashley Benson join Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, Rachel Bilson, and Liv Tyler—all Bongo alums.
In related news, Lea Michele has been named the new face of Iconix brand Candie’s.
