Lacoste and Catherine Malandrino Collaborate for Spring

Three looks from the Spring 2011 Catherine Malandrino x Lacoste collaboration.
Sporty heritage brand Lacoste is about to get a particularly French twist: Catherine Malandrino has teamed up with the company for a Spring 2011 capsule collection, and it’s much more femme than your average croc-emblazoned polo.
Pleated miniskirts and drapey harem and palazzo pants are edgier than Lacoste’s usual fare and paired with sweet off-the-shoulder tops (one proclaims “The Crocodile Loves You” in bold black letters) and polos with a twist—think sheer pointelle panels and colorblocking.
Even more feminine are draped dresses, a tie-dye dolman sleeve polo, and a tiered sleeveless polo-topped maxi dress.
The collection will be available in select Lacoste and Catherine Malandrino boutiques and at Lacoste.com starting in April.
