Abbie Cornish Goes Topless on Esquire U.K.
Turns out that skin-flashing Rihanna may not be the most provocative spring magazine cover star after all.
Abbie Cornish, who rocked a black bob for Marie Claire and a fierce rockabilly pompadour for Nylon, is turning up the heat with a topless shoot for Esquire U.K.
Fashion photographer Rankin snapped the Australian actress for the racy May cover shoot, which sees her covering her bare breast with the tried-and-true strategically-placed-hand trick.
Inside, the Sucker Punch star boasts long, Veronica Lake–style honey-blonde waves as she poses in a black lace triangle bra and a matching robe.
Keeping the steamy theme going, the 28-year-old dishes to the magazine about filming sex scenes with her actor "mates."
"I’m lucky," she insists. "With friends, if someone’s pants don’t come off properly, or if something gets stuck, you just end up giggling.
"Alligators have two eyelids; a clear set, so they can see, and another one which is opaque. It’s like that when you’re acting those scenes. You’re looking through the clear eyelids. So it’s not me doing the scene with Bradley [Cooper, her co-star in Limitless], it’s my character."
