Isaac Mizrahi Is Married!
Isaac Mizrahi has put a ring on it!
The designer dropped by the Wendy Williams Show on December 4—and showed off some serious bling.
“We got married!” he announced, showing off an impressive rock set into a wide band.
“We didn’t think we wanted to get married until they said we could in New York,” the bridal designer explained of his nuptials to longtime boyfriend Arnold Germer.
“I was at a dinner party, and I’m not kidding—people have ideas. You have to have a series of parties; Vera Wang has to be called…start now! We were terrified, so we decided to just elope at City Hall.”
Mizrahi and Germer tied the knot on November 30 (coincidentally, also Williams’s wedding anniversary)—and Mizrahi divulged that more than a few happy tears were shed.
“I wasn’t expecting that kind of emotional, emotional impact,” he said. “I think when it’s right, you know it.”
But though the low-key event has passed, Vera Wang might still want to be on call. “I think maybe, on the year anniversary, we’ll have a giant shindig,” he said. “And yes, I will call Vera Wang, and she will do my dress.”
