Chanel to Open Las Vegas ‘Numéros Privés’ Exhibition
Karl Lagerfeld has yet another project to add to his already mind-boggling CV!
The Kaiser recently launched a Sephora collection and his Karl line hits Net-a-Porter next week, but the designer’s latest endeavor takes him to Las Vegas, where Chanel is opening an elaborate installation at the Wynn Hotel.
Women’s Wear Daily reports that the exhibition, titled “Numéros Privés,” is made up of 10 separate spaces, “each dedicated to a specific aspect of Chanel’s history and brand.”
While details are few for now, expect Lagerfeld-designed dolls, an homage to Coco Chanel’s famous 31 rue Cambon apartment, and plenty of references to the iconic fashion house—from the 2.55 bag to strings of pearls.
The by-invitation-only exhibit will open January 20—and run through January 28—with an exclusive fete. WWD reports that starry guests like Jessica Alba, Alexa Chung, and high-profile fashion folk will be oh hand.
