Mary Katrantzou for Topshop - Sneak Peek
There's nothing like a drop-dead-gorgeous new collection to distract us from those Kanye West collaboration rumors. Isn't that right, Topshop?
After tapping Mary Katrantzou and her fellow NEWGEN alumni to create limited-edition tees in time for London Fashion Week, the British retailer is once again calling on the Greek-born designer for a new capsule collection launching February 17.
The prints-mad collection marks Katrantzou's third time teaming up with Topshop, but will be her first full range, with pieces ranging from leggings to sweaters to her signature full-skirted party dresses inspired by porcelain bowls.
At £350 (about $550 U.S.), the "Pheasant Dream" dress is the highlight of the bold-and-beautiful collection with its collage-style prints and floral Ming vase skirt, while garden prints, Chinoiserie florals, and blouses dotted with jeweled brooches will no doubt tempt.

"It's very exciting to work with Topshop for our third range together," Katrantzou says in a press statement.
"They've been so supportive of my work from the very beginning and this range will be the most ambitious one we've done and the most fun! My idea behind the collaboration was to design for the Topshop girl a range that is as close to the aesthetic of my mainline as possible, with great control over the quality of design and production. I can't wait to see the Topshop girls in the bowl dresses and for the most daring to see them try print-on-print layering!”
Take heed, gals: These flowers weren't made for wallflowers.
