Color chameleons, your time is now: Pantone has unveiled its Fall 2011 color report, which highlights the top 10 hues for women's fashion for the season. Magically, the report comes out just in time for Fashion Week.
We won't keep you in suspense, so you can plan your attire accordingly. The hit colors are: Bamboo, Emberglow, Honeysuckle, Phlox, Cedar, Deep Teal, Coffee Liqueur, Nougat, Orchid Hush, and Quarry. (If the names leave you a bit confused, the spectrum is in all its glory below.)
To showcase just how the colors work with the Fall runway collections (and to help bring them to life), Pantone worked with designers like Chris Benz, Peter Som, Rebecca Minkoff, NAHM, Elie Tahari, and many more.
Honeysuckle—the color of the year—went to Pamella Roland, who designed a deep-pink coat with fringe. Newcomers Nary Manivong and Ally Hilfiger took on Coffee Liqueur, creating a brown dress with front detailing. Adam's Adam Lippes sketched a jumpsuit for the interestingly named hue Phlox (or purple).
“Designers take a painterly approach to Fall 2011 by artfully combining bright colors with staple neutrals, reminiscent of how an artist would construct a stunning work of art,” Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, said in a release.

Of course, if you're determined to stay monochromatic, at least you have new ideas for your living room walls.
