Alexander Wang, Jason Wu Team Up with Swarovski Collective
Louise Goldin, Vivienne Tam, Prabal Gurung, and Juan Carlos Obando will be implementing Swarovski crystals into their hotly anticipated designs during New York Fashion Week.

Alexander Wang has something to shout about.
Expect to have a few stars in your eyes this Fashion Week—and we're not talking about the celebrity-studded front row.
Swarovski is adding some sparkle to the Fall/Winter 2011-12 collections by teaming up with top designers for its Swarovski Collective series.
In New York, Alexander Wang, Jason Wu, Louise Goldin, Vivienne Tam, Prabal Gurung, and Juan Carlos Obando will implement Swarovski crystals into their hotly anticipated designs.
“For the Fall '11 collection, we’re using Swarovski Elements's 'crystal fabrics' as detailing on tuxedos, tops and jackets," Wang said in a press release.
“This clean finish and flexibility allows us to achieve 100 percent precision throughout the collection.”
While Wu teases “a feeling of opulence” with his latest offerings, Gurung reveals that he'll be using the crystals to give his collection a luxe edge.
“This season draws from the romantic styles seen throughout the Victorian times with a slightly savage, streetwise edge,” he says. “The Swarovski crystals add to the richness of the collection and help create the juxtaposition between precious and casual couture.”
Swarovski will also make its presence known at the upcoming shows in London, Paris and Milan by working with Erdem, Giles, Holly Fulton, House of Holland, JW Anderson, Marios Schwab, Mary Katrantzou, Richard Nicoll, Roksanda Ilincic, Francesco Scognamiglio, and Hussein Chalayan.
