Glasses gone gif: Prada's collaboration with Vahram Muratyan.

Just like the rest of us, fashion is falling in love with gifs.

First, Tiffany & Co. debuted their collaboration on some cool cinemagraphs made by the bloggers behind From Me To You. Then Stacey Bendet tapped the duo for her Magnum Ice Cream project. Oh, and don't forget Vogue Italia's animations from its controversial "Haute Mess" shoot.

The latest development? Prada has linked up with illustrator Vahram Muratyan, who penned the book Paris Versus New York, a collection of cute diptychs comparing, for example, Brooklyn hipster scruff with Belleville beards. Who better to set the brand's Spring 2012 accessories (like that to-die-for flame shoe) in motion? Muratyan's illustrations each feature cute animations, like a tiny car driving over a pair of its Dixie sunglasses (above.) For more, check out the Parallel Universes tab on Prada.com.
