Elin Kling Designs Guess By Marciano Collection
After reuniting with Claudia Schiffer for its 30th anniversary campaign, Guess has found another fashionable blonde to work with.
The label has announced that Swedish style blogger Elin Kling will be its first-ever design collaborator, with a limited-edition women's collection inspired by matadors and "classic Spanish femininity" in the works.
The street style favorite—whose NowManifest blogging network was just acquired by Fairchild Fashion Media—oversaw the design for the collection, which will include blouses, dresses, denim, and leather.
"When I met Elin, we connected right away," Guess? Inc. CEO and creative director Paul Marciano says in a press statement. "She has style, she has personality, and she is typically our customer. She is feminine, she is sexy, she is super confident, and I really love how she perceived the brand. It isn’t just that she is a blogger—what drove me first was her. It was Elin. And that is what is important for us.”

“It was an easy decision to make my own collection for Guess by Marciano," adds Kling, who has previously collaborated with H&M. "I’ve always been a big fan of Guess, its history, and of Paul’s work. Especially after meeting him and hearing him talk about the campaigns and his love for the brand really got me excited for this project. In just two days after going through the Guess archives, I had done almost all the sketches!”
Unfortunately, it will take a bit longer for the collection to actually find its way to our shopping bags. Elin Kling for Marciano is slated to hit Guess stores globally in November.
Until then—olé!
