'Twas a month before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring ... except for our mouse.
In a major boost for holiday online shopping, eBay has rounded up Billy Reid, Steven Alan, Chris Benz, Fallon, Tibi, Jonathan Adler, and Ruffian to create exclusive gift items ranging from apparel and jewelry to electronics and home décor, Women's Wear Daily reports.
Launching November 12, the eBay Holiday Collective marks the e-tailer's first group collaboration, though it has teamed up with Derek Lam, Narciso Rodriguez, and Rebecca Minkoff in the past. The announcement also comes just days after Target and Neiman Marcus revealed that they will be joining forces for an exclusive holiday collection designed by 24 CFDA designers.

Each of the seven designers contributed at least five items for the 40-piece Holiday Collective, which will range from $50 to $100. Available through eBay's Fashion Vault, the merchandise can be shipped anywhere free of charge (take note, North Polers).
From the sounds of it, the designers, who will also create gift lifts for the site, needed little arm-twisting to take part. Reid calls himself "an avid eBay shopper," while Fallon's Dana Lorenz says she wants to have "an attainable collection for the fashion-conscious."
Of course, none may be as fixated with discounted designer wares as pottery and textiles guru Adler.
“I am obsessed with eBay,” he says. “EBay has changed the way I shop, and, I’m afraid, distracted me from doing my work—but that’s another story.”
Welcome to our world, pal.
