Sofia Vergara’s Diet Pepsi Ad with David Beckham—And Her $98 Swimsuit
Nice try, David Beckham! Though the soccer stud causes a frenzy with his cameo in Sofia Vergara’s new Diet Pepsi commercial, it’s her sexy Norma Kamali swimwear that really makes waves.
In the just-released “Beach Tweet” ad, Vergara is seen lounging on the sands of Santa Monica, Calif., in her ’50s-style, $98 Bill swimsuit—amping up the glam factor with a light blue floppy hat and wrap—when she spots a fellow sun worshipper sipping a Diet Pepsi. Craving a can for herself, Vergara contemplates going to the refreshment stand but sees a mob waiting for their soda fix.
As the Damn Yankees tune “Whatever Lola Wants” plays, the quick-thinking Modern Family star takes to Twitter to announce, “At the pier … just saw #David Beckham!” and the cola crowd dashes in that direction. Flaunting her enviable curves, va-va-voom Vergara wiggles her way to the stand to pick up her Diet Pepsi.
Blissfully sipping her soda, the scorching-hot star is suddenly interrupted by a stray soccer ball, followed by its owner: former Emporio Armani Underwear model Beckham, who wears a white button-down shirt with khaki cargo shorts.
Motioning toward the pier, he asks, “What’s going on over there?” and almost causes the crafty Colombian bombshell to do a spit take.
We’re willing to bet that Beckham had that same reaction when he first saw Vergara in her swimsuit.
