If the spring runways are anything to go by—and they will be—it's time to invest in some really good lip balm. Bare puckers were everywhere, along with clean faces. Skin is officially in.
Alexander Wang's pouts were paired with heavily lined eyes and wet hair, for a just worked out look. Tommy Hilfiger offered up beach ready faces, with slicked back hair and nary a hint of hue on the lips. Victoria Beckham's models rocked a pale kisser with defined cheekbones, sleek hair, and bold brows. Tres natural. Meanwhile at Rag & Bone, bare lips helped set off the sports-couture themed collection.
But there's more! (We told you, it's quite the trend!) Proenza Schouler's messy 'dos were paired with naked lips while Michael Kors sent out bronzed goddesses with a sunkissed lip with a hint of shine. Oscar de la Renta's gowns were accessorized with crimped locks and color-free pouts.
Even London is feeling the bare vibe for spring. Burberry's girls eschewed bold lipstick in favor of a natural look, and Christopher Kane opted for rosy-cheeked instead of rose-lipped.
So next time you feel the need for some lippy, reach for the Burt's Bees instead.
