Maybelline Upgrades Web Site with Makeup Lessons
After glamming up countless women, Maybelline New York has gotten a makeover of its own.
The cosmetics brand just unveiled an upgraded Web site that features fresh editorial content, a user-friendly, multifaceted search tool, and makeup lessons galore.
On the new NYC365 channel, beauty buffs can check out a “daily It girl” plucked from the Big Apple pavement and score makeup tips inspired by her look.
And if achieving the perfect smoky eye is beyond your skill set, visit the Lessons channel for handy video tutorials from Global Makeup Artist Charlotte Willer, who covers trends according to events (wedding, work), level of expertise (simple, advanced), and mood (relaxed, daring).
“We’re giving consumers new ways to experience the Maybelline New York brand,” Ali Goldstein, vice president of U.S. marketing for Maybelline New York, said in a release.
“The new Maybelline.com, with its editorial feel and trend-driven information, provides consumers with fresh, user-friendly content that is infused with New York and fashion—two things that are part of our DNA. Our latest Fashion Week and digital initiatives give our consumers unprecedented access to the most exciting parts of the Maybelline New York brand.”
The brand is also in its fourth season as the official makeup sponsor of New York Fashion Week, where it will provide runway beauty looks for the likes of L.A.M.B., DKNY, Betsey Johnson, Cynthia Rowley, and Vivienne Tam.
Front-row ticket lost in the mail? Fret not. Maybelline and YouTube will live-stream 30 shows from the latter's Live from the Runway channel.
We'd expect nothing less from the geniuses who brought us Great Lash.
