Pour some sugar on me: Mulberry's Spring 2012 ad campaign looks good enough to eat.
Spring 2012 sure has a sweet tooth.
Following Louis Vuitton's trip to the ice cream parlor for its saccharine new ads, Mulberry is upping the ante with a seaside Spring 2012 campaign featuring giant ice cream cones, barber pole candy sticks, and other tasty treats. Yum!
Having partnered up for the label's floral-inspired Spring 2011 campaign, photographer Tim Walker and teen model Lindsey Wixson reunite for the whimsical ads set on England's Brighton Beach.
The clothes are just as playful as the props, with Wixson and costar Frida Gustavsson modeling candy-hued stripes, chunky wedges worn with socks, and tart citrus hues paired with butterscotch leather basics from the Spring 2012 collection.
But we can't say we're surprised: The runway show did feature an ice cream truck and a goodie bag stuffed with Mulberry-branded rock candy.
